The Interreligious Working Group in Switzerland (IRAS COTIS)
Fostering social cohesion in Switzerland
The PCS is a member of the national network IRAS COTIS, which promotes dialogue between people of different religious and cultural backgrounds – and through it, social cohesion in Switzerland. A major project of IRAS COTIS is the Week of Religions.
The PCS is represented in the steering committee, together with the Swiss Bishops’ Conference (SBC), the Swiss Federation of Jewish Communities (SIG), and other supporting institutions. The PCS is also involved in the interreligious youth project ‘Dialogue en Route’. This invites people to explore the religious and cultural diversity of Switzerland.
